When will I receive my order?
At the time of ordering, the product page will indicate the time it will take to ship your order. Once shipped, you will receive a track & trace code via email. With this, you can track your order. Haven't received an email? Make sure to check your spam folder.
Delivery time 1 to 3 working days
To provide the best quality, products consisting of living animals are only produced after ordering. It can take 1 to 3 days before we can ship your products. However, we always try to maintain a fresh stock of the most common beneficial insects. This often allows us to deliver sooner than indicated!
Order a product that is in stock and receive your package tomorrow!
If ordered before 2:00 PM, your order will depart the same day with PostNL or UPS.
Bank Transfer
If you pay by bank transfer, it usually takes 1 to 5 working days for the payment to be registered. This will delay your order. We therefore advise against payments by bank transfer.
Shipping and handling costs
Shipping is free for purchases over 50 euros. For smaller orders, we charge 4.95 euros (incl. VAT) for shipping. This applies to both shipments to the Netherlands and Belgium.
Cooled shipping
To ensure the best quality, we ship your package cooled if necessary.
We evaluate the weather forecast daily. Depending on that and the type of product, your order may or may not arrive cooled. We gladly absorb the extra cost associated with this to provide our customers with the best quality!
Pick up at Biogrowi is also possible
Online orders can be picked up during our office hours.
Select 'Pick up at Biogroei BV' when checking out your online order. After ordering, you will receive an email titled 'Order shipped'. This means your package is ready for pick up between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM at our address "Tiensesteenweg 341 - V1, 3010 Leuven".
Neutral outer box
Packaging
We pay close attention to our packaging. Depending on the product and expected outdoor temperatures, it is determined whether your order needs to be cooled during shipping. Therefore, sometimes you might receive a cooled package and other times not. We assess outdoor temperatures daily.
Cooled shipments are made using an EPS box containing a reusable cooling element. You can keep and reuse the cooling element, for example, during a nice picnic! The EPS box always comes with a neutral cardboard outer packaging.
Exceptions
Bumblebee hives
A standard bumblebee hive can be shipped only on specified days. You can see the available delivery days on the product page during bumblebee season (starting in spring). During the off-season, bumblebee hives can be ordered only for pick-up at our warehouse: Tiensesteenweg 341 - V1, 3010 Leuven.
If your ordered product is out of stock or in case of production issues
We largely deal with living organisms. Therefore, unforeseen circumstances can sometimes occur. In such exceptions, we will notify you personally by email or phone. The order will be dispatched as soon as possible in consultation with you. Prefer a refund in this situation? Of course, that's not a problem!
Extreme temperatures
In both winter and summer months, beneficial insects sometimes cannot be shipped. With extreme outdoor temperatures, some species of beneficial insects do not survive longer shipping periods. If you still wish to receive living materials during extreme temperatures, this is only at your own risk. We will contact you personally if this should be the case. However, you can always pick up beneficial insects or nematodes after making an appointment, provided they have been ordered and paid for online.
